Last weekend, we have first made a trip of almost full squat. That is: Sergio, Ana Felix, Simon, I + Nacho with us at the beginning of one months resided. The Chileans were unfortunately not with it. Andres visited his parents and Pablo after his hepatitis B infection still not 100% fit. (Did I think I never mention that he was for over a month in bed, was completely yellow, was extremely critical values had and still have to keep an extreme diet, at least 1 year, he may consume a drop of alcohol, but it is clearly on the mend!)

Since Friday is a holiday where I have accordingly not a lecture. Thursday is free day anyway university, therefore I probably will tomorrow be set off Wednesday, and on again a few days rumreisen. planned to come this time it's really up to Chiloe. Also, I must again Andres Calbuco visit on Saturday town houses a Halloween Party:)

I'm in the lecture where we Graficas por Computadora program graphical applications. We have a small "game" as Get exercise. The idea is that there are 4 circles move randomly in a large rectangle. (Always same direction but to different extents). If a complete circle in the small rectangle is the program stops.
I was finished much faster than the lecturer was funny enough, he will at least have the shorter source code. About one hour he has now missed the shortening of the source code. Finally he made it to 142 lines and abandoned. (My applet 114 lines is slim but still fairly readable)

Only 2 months!?

will sit in exactly 2 months I planned in my plane for home. A very strange feeling that are already 3 of 5 past months. The time flies by. La Serena / Pisco Elqui / Isla Damas

This weekend I was with my two French roommates Felix and Simon in La Serena and its surroundings. As I was already there though, but I quite like the weekend is the time in the water. This time it was much better!
After we arrived early morning in La Serena we quickly scheduled the next day and taken care to include a trip to Isla Damas. Since we wanted to stay there we had a permit When carrying out Conaf (Fort authority). Then we went to Valle Elqui. In this valley, it almost never rains (well known exceptions prove the rule) and consequently dried up even the landscape. But since Fortunately, the Rio Elqui flows through this valley, you use it perfect for viticulture. (It then wine or Pisco !)

We then "Los Niches" Pisquera visited the oldest of the valley where we were told exactly how Pisco is produced, what is important and what the Grappa is the difference. Finally we had to buy at the prices and the odd bottle. (A few thousand or even ago?)

Am nächsten Tag sind wir dann mit einem anderen Touristen Boot wieder ans Festland und haben uns langsam aber sicher wieder auf made their way home. In La Serena, we still had several hours until the bus was, accordingly, we consumed at the beach or cozy little wine, that helps then known, on the bus to sleep better!

Cajón del Maipo / Baños Colina / El Morado

Over the weekend I was in the Cajon del Maipo with Nacho. The village of Baños Morales to which we have gone relatively far in the mountains. Since hardly any people live there and the village really only live on tourism, there are only Saturday and Sunday buses. So we are on Saturday in the morning went there on a bumpy dirt road there. The bus was so crowded that people were allowed to stand at the roadside, even though the next bus is only 24 hours later! Once there, we wanted to stay in the National Park "El Morado" around there at least one night. But the park ranger told us that the camp since This year, because last year was forbidden to leave much garbage. Great. We have searched in vain for another access to the park but as it is a canyon there is really only this one guarded entrance. On the road, we then have a 60-year Señor Roberto taken, and asked his advice. He told us that 12km uphill are thermal pools and that we can stay there overnight. Roberto was on Monday evening after Santiago break and we have asked whether we can set up the tent in the garden to stay until Tuesday. I was a week ago on Wednesday, then a last-minute Couch Surfer (Andres) to raise for the first night shelter near Puerto Montt, more precisely Calbuco to have.
After 13h bus ride I arrived on Thursday morning in Puerto Montt, and I have traveled and then all day in the city. After we could have slept almost all day Saturday we will start right after getting up to prepare for a housewarming party. The organization was amazingly professional: (! German word) There was a conditioning / amplifier, projector, 2 professional karaoke singer, a popcorn machine, foam, whistles, masks, scissors / tape A full bar and good humor to 7 clock morning!

Sunday late afternoon, then we have again gathered in the house and opened the brand-new barbecue while the home side were still busy cleaning up. After the whole bash that was the only major on Sunday.

The owner has just built a nice little house and bought a few animals take over the mowing for him. Middle of the woods with about 1000 years old Alerce (these can be up to 3500 years old!) There is playing a small forest on the stage occasionally known Chilean groups. The "captain" of the boat has spent his lunch hour with me and guide me to play. That was really very practical and nice:)
Honestly, I will sometimes own island!

evening I'm back Towards Santiago broken and I once again spent a night on the bus.

Yesterday evening was the farewell party of my English roommate, Al, who studied last semester here and now again takes up the journey home. However, it will come back in February for another semester to study here. (Love ...)

quiet week

As mentioned earlier, I was somewhat struck back from the Argentina tour. Consequently, I can take it a few days very Ruig. My week consisted mainly of words: lectures, Homework, rest, sleep, movies, a concert, barbecue 2x, a little programming. The weather here has become after my 11 days away much better. We are now officially not only in the spring but you can see and feel it too! Sometimes I even think about the T-shirt to leave the house. :)

Now I just wanted to relax after all the hard work to start (programming work for the brunners.de) and then today my professor tells me that the lecture turns out on Friday. Hey presto I have 6 days off! Since I will probably have no time during the semester for further major trips MUST I use the time now and a little further away . Go The choice fell on Chiloé. Chiloé is about 15h south, is the second largest Chilean island and supposedly beautiful!
I hope that I love the weather - because of Chiloe is known for low temperatures and especially rain. England were, the South America:)
